John 8:12-20
Time: The Last day of the feast of Tabernacle.
Place: Mount of Olives
Persons: Jesus and the Pharisees.
Situation: Light of the world.

V. 12: Jesus spoke - I am the light of the world
whoever follows me will not walk in the
darkness but have the light of life.
V. 13: Pharisees-
You testify on your own behalf, your testifying cannot be verified.
V. 14: Jesus Even if I do testify on my behalf
my testimony can be verified.
Because I know where I cam from
and where I am
going.
But you do not
know where I come from
and where I am
going.
V. 15: You judge by appearances
but I do not
judge anyone.
V.16: Eve if I should judge,
my judgment is valid.
because I am
not alone, but it is I and the Father.
V. 17: In your law it is
written, that the testimony of two men can be valid.
V. 18: I testify on my behalf
and so does the Father who sent me.
V. 19: Pharisees -
Where is your father?
Jesus said - you know neither
me nor my father. If you know me, you would know my father.
V. 20: But one arrested him
because his hour not yet come.

Message: The purpose of the coming of Jesus is to
bring light to the world, in other word ‘salvation to all the people.
John: 8:21-30

V. 21: Jesus spoke – “I am going away and you will
look for me,
but you will die
in your
sin. Where i
am going you cannot come.
V. 22:
Jews- He is not going to
kill, is he,
because where
I am going you cannot come
V. 23: Jesus You belong to what is bellow,
I belong to
what is above.
You belong to
this world
but I do not
belong to this world.
V. 24: That is why I told you
that you will die to your sins,
for is you do
not believe that I AM,
You will die
to your sins.
V.25: The Jews
Who are you?
Jesus What I told you from the
beginning.
V. 26: I have much to say to you
about you in condemnation.
but the one
who sent me is true
and what I heard
from him, I tell the world.
V. 27:
They But they did not
realize that he was speaking to them of the Father.
V. 28: Jesus - “When you lift up the Son of man
then you will realize that I am
And that I do
nothing of my own
But I say only
what the Father taught me.
V. 29: The one who sent me is
with me.
He is not left
me alone.
Because I do
what is pleasing to him.
V. 30: Because he spoke this
way, many came to believe in him.
